Hi

there are several threads on the PML and ways to use them (try a search).
What I remember is that you should not change the material at the PML boundary so if your model is surrounded by air, use air for your PML region, if half is glass, you have a dilemma, I didi manage back in 3.5 times I believe to split my PML such that it had glas material parameter around my glass region and air around the top air region, with some sporadicreflection at the PML interface (nothing is perfect). Now what I also have heard is that in V4 the PML behaviour has been improved, but I must admit I havent really been in RF lately, too busy in solid, HT, ACDC, MEMS and CFD these days.
