Remesh Deformed ConfigurationRemesh Deformed Configuration

I'm currently working on an extremely simple static structural model. I have two beams with a point load. I would like to use the deformed configuration to generate a new mesh.
Basically one should use click on the solution and select “remesh deformed configuration”. This function is working fine with 3D model. On the other hand, beam cannot be remeshed. I systematically obtain the following COMSOL error : “ Deformed configuration cannot be created”. I have tried it with my own model and on the “channel_beam.mph”. Both models return the same error.
Is it a known error in COMSOL 4.1? Does anyone have an alternative strategy (I actually need to do post-process the data via matlab live link)?
