Chemical reaction engineering-pellet catalyst simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hey!
first of all i'm a beginner.
does anyone know how could i simulate a combined incompressible navier-stokes/convection and diffusion problem.

my main misunderstanding, concerns the boundary settings.
what i have to solve is the following:

there is a pipe, drawn using axial symmetry 2D as a rectangular one. in the middle of it, there is a catalyst where my reaction occurs between the fluid and the catalyst.
is there anybody out who could tell me which are the boundary conditions i sould use?
thank you in advance.
