I have installed a femlab comsol in my PC which has already matlab in it. However when I use programming language from matlab to create solid objects, matlab did not understand these command.

For example I have used the following command to create a solid rectangle with corners at (-1,-1) and (1,1):

s1 = rect2(-1,1,-1,1);
geomplot(s1)
axis equal

Matlab replied

??? undefined function or method 'rect2' for input arguments of 'double'

Please let me know what I made this mistake. Thanks!

Paul

I am new to COMSOL and i am facing the same problem.

Also, i am using Matlab 2011a and COMSOL 3.4. However, I have been not been able to Connect to MATLAB using the same. So, i tried saving the file as .m file and tried to run it in Matlab. However, the software couldn't recognize functions like rect2 etc.

Thanks for looking at my problem.
