Controlling temperatures in a system is a challenge facing device and process design in many industries: chemical, medical, automotive and electronics are a few examples. Systems such as heat exchangers or heat sinks may protect components by cooling them, whereas resistive and induction heating are applied to heat components. In this webinar we demonstrate the application of heat transfer models to thermal management, involving conduction, convection and radiation, as well as multiphysics couplings of heat transfer to flow, mechanics, and electromagnetics.
