Optimizing the Shape of a Dipole Antenna

Optimizing the Shape of a Dipole Antenna

The impedance of an antenna is an important parameter that determines how it behaves in transmitter circuits. Impedance matching and low reactive components are important to get reliable operation, which can be achieved either by proper design or matching circuit.

In this model, the deformed mesh application mode is used to optimize the length and diameter of a dipole antenna to obtain a prescribed impedance value.
