Decompose Shear ( transverse) and Pressure ( Longitudinal) Waves

Hello everyone I have a model which produces elastic waves, from laser heating. Now I need to identify the displacements originated from shear and pressure waves, to focus on shear wave only. currently I use a decomposition program that I wrote in Matlab, but I want to know is there any feature in comsol that can do that for me?

Hi Amir,

Did you find any answer to your question? This is exactly my problem too. How did you seperate them in MATLAB? Thanks!
