Customer Relationship Associate

COMSOL is seeking a Customer Relationship Associate to join its team in Palo Alto, CA. This position requires someone who can use their interpersonal skills to help the sales team proactively manage the needs of prospects and customers to expand our business. In particular, we are looking for a person who can communicate with our existing customer base to ensure the timely renewal of all subscriptions through our customer care program. We sell to many of the top engineering and scientific teams in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Western US. These range from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to national labs to technical universities and their activities cover a wide span of engineering disciplines. This is a small-office environment in a rapidly growing, diverse company. As such, you will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities, allowing for personal and professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing our customer care program.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the subscription renewal process.
  • Follow up with prospects and existing customers by phone and email.
  • Act as a back-up for account managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, economics or business.
  • Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong time-management skills – balancing demands from many prospects.
  • Excellent communications skills, in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Positive, upbeat, outgoing personality.
  • Eligibility to work in the US.
